Basildon Renaissance

Ardent (ACE) was appointed to provide full infrastructure and transport masterplan support to the Development Partner, for the delivery of up to 2000 new homes,40,000m2 of retail/leisure space and 25,000m2 of offices in Basildon Town centre. Key to the delivery of the masterplan’s aspirations was how the transport infrastructure was improved to ensure that visitors could gain access to the town centre quickly and efficiently by whatever means of transport is utilised.

ACE was instrumental in planning the main transport hub in consultation with all the major stakeholders. Additionally, ACE produced on infrastructure delivery plan in support of the masterplan to ensure the regeneration be delivered with the minimum disruption to the town centre.
