Finance Assistant – Short Term Contract

Job Location: Central London

Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance assistant role for an initial 6 month period based in our London office, they will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be tasked with supporting the team across all areas of finance with a focus on accounts receivable:

  • Creating sales invoices after approval in the practice management system, around 200 per month;
  • Liaising with senior finance assistants during the company billing cycle;
  • Uploading finalised sales invoices into the Sage accounting system;
  • Assist the Credit Controller in chasing up outstanding invoices;
  • Assist in the process change of moving invoicing to the current practice management system onto the new system;
  • Any ad hoc work required by the Financial Controller or the rest of the Finance team.

Profile

The attributes we are looking for to fill this role are as follows:

  • Minimum of 2 + years of experience working within a finance function;
  • Strong Excel skills e.g. VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Quick learner of new systems and software;
  • Adaptable to change.
