Finance Assistant – Short Term Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for a Finance assistant role for an initial 6 month period based in our London office, they will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be tasked with supporting the team across all areas of finance with a focus on accounts receivable:
- Creating sales invoices after approval in the practice management system, around 200 per month;
- Liaising with senior finance assistants during the company billing cycle;
- Uploading finalised sales invoices into the Sage accounting system;
- Assist the Credit Controller in chasing up outstanding invoices;
- Assist in the process change of moving invoicing to the current practice management system onto the new system;
- Any ad hoc work required by the Financial Controller or the rest of the Finance team.
Profile
The attributes we are looking for to fill this role are as follows:
- Minimum of 2 + years of experience working within a finance function;
- Strong Excel skills e.g. VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Quick learner of new systems and software;
- Adaptable to change.
