For our Noise & Vibration positions, you will need a degree in acoustics or a related discipline, be a Member or Associate member of the Institute of Acoustics and have relevant experience in a consultancy environment.  Your background should include experience in residential, commercial, environmental acoustics and you will have a robust knowledge of relevant policies and standards applicable to planning, Environmental Impact Assessment and possibly to detailed design.  You should be conversant with acoustics modelling and standard Microsoft packages.

Senior positions will require excellent report writing skills and the ability to communicate design concepts and proposals clearly and concisely to both clients and fellow professionals. You should also be a skilled negotiator, capable of achieving mutually acceptable solutions to problems.
