Steve Field

Associate

Steve has over 20 years’ experience in the planning and design of transport infrastructure, specialising in the past nine years in advising on the transport aspects of planning new developments.

Steven can provide advice on transport planning and design matters at the pre-purchase stage; advise on scheme design and access, and parking provision; prepare Transport Assessments/Statements and Green Travel Plans to support planning applications; and negotiate legal agreements with planning and highway authorities.

Steve is based in our Essex office.

Flo Kirk-Lloyd

Associate

Flo is an air quality scientist who has worked on hundreds of air quality assessments over a decade within the air quality industry. She has significant experience in air quality assessments for pre-planning, planning, local air quality management, environmental impact assessment and local plan assessment as well as air quality monitoring, dust and odour assessment. Projects have included modelling of road emission impacts, energy centre and biomass boiler impacts as well as industrial emissions. Projects have ranged in size from a single dwelling in Cambridge to a very large scale energy from waste project in London, via a number of mixed use developments of 100 – 6,000 units both in London and across the rest of the UK, including Scotland and Wales. She is a full member of both the IAQM and the IES.

Andrew Dennis

Associate

Andrew has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, working mainly in engineering consultancy.

Andrew has a wide variety of experience from large mixed-use developments, residential projects and business projects being involved from initial feasibility, through planning, detailed design and to on-site support specialising in civil engineering and flood risk considerations.

Andrew is based in our South West office.

Lee Dursley

Associate

Lee has over 15 years’ of acoustic consultancy experience having worked for private consultancies and engineering firms on a variety of projects throughout the UK. His experience covers a range of projects within the residential, retail, commercial, minerals and waste, and industrial sectors.

Lee is involved in all stages of projects from pre-purchase through to planning assessments and post-application negotiations. These have included major road and rail infrastructure schemes as well as large residential and commercial development projects.

Lee is based in our Midlands office.

John Macmillan

Head of Business Development

John has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry on both the consultant and contractor side, in the public and private sectors.

John’s career began as a graduate trainee with the Mace Group when it was a mere fledgling company in the early 1990s. From there he joined BAM to help set up a Private Finance Initiative team and later a specialist Construction Management team. Later in his career he moved over to the engineering consultancy side, first with WYG where he worked primarily in the public sector, then over to Buro Happold Engineering where he led business development for their London office for nearly 10 years, targeting major regeneration and development opportunities. John now joins us after a year’s consultancy role focused on London’s University estates with the UK’s leading fit-out company Overbury, part of the Morgan Sindall group of companies.

John is based in our London office.

David Howson

Associate

David has over 16 years’ experience in private sector consultancy services, working on a range of projects scales for a range of schemes across the UK, including: residential; commercial; food retail; healthcare; and mixed-use development proposals.

David supports clients with transport planning advice with the aim of achieving planning permissions; supporting proposals from pre-purchase through to submission of a planning application, as well as post-application discharge of planning conditions and construction logistics.

David is based in our Suffolk office.

Edward Fambely

Associate

Edward has over 8 years of experience in the Civil Engineering Industry, working on a broad range of projects and providing engineering services to predominately private sector clients.

Edward is experienced in delivering both brownfield and greenfield developments and specialises in flood risk & drainage, highway design and earthworks.

Edward is involved at all stages of projects providing due diligence and pre-purchase advice, reports and technical drawings to support planning applications and detailed drawings packages for tender, approval and construction.

Edward is based in our Nottingham office.

Andrew Gilnicz

Associate

Andrew has over 17 years’ Transport Planning experience in private sector consultancy services, working on a range of schemes across the UK, including residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, educational facilities, care homes and mixed-use development proposals.

Andrew provides transport planning advice from initial due diligence appraisals, through to planning applications and post-planning support. His key focus is on providing safe and cost-effective solutions for the Client that support and complement each development individually.

Andrew is based in our Nottingham office.
