Energy and Sustainability Remit Lead (Associate/Associate Director/Technical Director Level)

Job Summary

As a new remit within Ardent, we are looking for an individual with sufficient senior experience to assist setting up and leading an Energy and Sustainability team.  Reporting to main board, this team will be responsible in providing Energy and Sustainability Services for due-diligence and planning schemes across the country.

This new role is reflective of the growth and development of the company, who will recruit and manage a growing team of consultants to ensure work allocation, workflow and completion is consistent. The role advertised will act as the remit lead, building strong relations with the team internally and acting as the link with the Directors. This position will also act as client liaison ensuring that good communication is maintained, and excellent and consistent service is preserved and improved as required.

Candidates will have strong previous experience in the Energy and Sustainability sector for planning projects, with a demonstrable track record working at senior level, with a depth of experience managing people to compliment your strong technical knowledge and credibility in the consultancy market. Areas of interest and experience will include carbon management, net zero, energy strategy and ESG.

In addition to the technical requirements of the role, your ability to influence others and explain the importance of what the team are doing is crucial, as well as building strong relationships internally, leadership and a well organised demeanour.

They will ideally be based in London office, but we are open to be positioned in any of our regional offices (Midlands/Essex/Kent/Ipswich/Bristol/Edinburgh).
