If you are a Transport Planner/Engineer, Infrastructure Design Engineer/ Technician or CAD Technician with the right kind of experience and aptitude, you can look forward to rewards above the industry standard.

For a Transport Planning positions, you should have either a BEng/MEng degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, or a first degree in a related subject such as Geography plus an MSc in Transport Planning/Engineering, together with a minimum of one to two years’ post qualification experience in Transport Assessments, Green Travel Plans, and preliminary highway/junction layout design and capacity analysis.

For Infrastructure Engineering positions, you will need a degree/HNC in Civil Engineering and two years’ experience, with a background in detailed highway alignment, junction layout and drainage design together with the relevant computer skills.

For Hydrology positions, you will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or appropriate science or equivalent commercial experience and responsibility. You will have a minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience and your principal role will be the day to day project management of a small team of ISIS-TUFLOW modellers and conceptual design of flood protection measures and drainage strategies, leading to planning applications or construction drawings.

Senior positions will require excellent report writing skills and the ability to communicate design concepts and proposals clearly and concisely to both Clients and fellow professionals, and to have the skills to negotiate successfully to achieve mutually acceptable solutions to problems.
